1 iunie: ziua copilului

Children's Day is recognized on various days in many places around the world, to honor children globally. It was first proclaimed by the World Conference for the Well-being of Children in 1925 and then established universally in 1954. In Romania, Children's Day, Ziua Copilului, is celebrated on June 1.

To celebrate this day we had a party at the Direction with all the kids from the vilas, some educators and workers from the Direction and the kids from Junior Kindergarten.

Every Vila prepared a performance, specially for the small kids from Junior. 

- Vila Marian started dancing a Waltz:
(Look how elegant our youngsters were!)

And they also danced hora, a traditional romanian dance:

 

- Vila Cristina recited a poetry and they also danced a traditional romanian dance (with the traditional suit):

                                                               

- Finally, the smallest kids of Vila Raluca recited a poetry, and all the kids, and also Daniel and me, we danced a mix:
(The original dance in the Direction wasn't alright recorded, so we danced again in the garden)

                                                                   

After us, the children from Junior Kindergarten, sang some songs.
The party finished with the presents of Junior kids (they gave to the kids from the Vilas a lot of their own toys, and also new ones!)
