Water gymkhana

In the end of April we had 30 degrees in Slobozia, so we could start to play water gymkhanas! A gymkhana is a big game played by groups as a competition. It consists of small games that the players have to pass in order to achieve points and advance to the goal.
To play our water gymkhana Yoana and Daniel carried 80 liters of water to an old football field (you will have to ask them how they did it!) and after prepare Vila Raluca kids for the afternoon (suncream and caps are essential now) the fun started!
First of all we needed 2 teams: here you can see the "câștigătorii" and the "campionii":

First game was to carry water from the pail to the meters with sponges:

Next game was "the tunnel": the kids has to make a tunnel with their legs and the last one has to pass through the tunnel with a glass of water in his-her mouth and fill the meter.

The kids started to be fresh and it was the perfect moment to play with a classic water game: water balloons. The kids had to carry the balloons in pairs to the meters and explote them with their tummies!
This one was the funniest game and it was really difficult to explote the balloons pointing in the meters!

We used all our forces for this game so we took a break to enjoy the shadow, eat a snack and let the kids a little bit of free time.

After other water games we had a final surprise for the kids: a battle with water guns!

Both teams achieved 5 points so the gymkhana ended in a tie!

I recommend everyone to enjoy the freetime of a sunny afternoon just playing! Gymkhanas are good games to stimulate teamwork, relationships and imagination to solve the games.
